Worthing Windows was founded in the early 1990s by a former regional director for a big national firm, and a trained joiner, window fitter and manufacturer with hands-on experience and a passion for the industry, who had also learned his trade at a top nationwide organisation. Both men had a strong commitment to and knowledge of the local area.

The idea was to set up a keeper rather than a ‘get rich quick’ outfit, and to provide a service for Worthing that was “Made to measure NOT made to fit”. The ethos was for a long-lasting company that cared about its customers and its local area, with firm pledges to:

  • Not put any customers under heavy sales pressure
  • Cover all work with a 10-year guarantee
  • Provide a personal touch

Worthing Windows works to the same philosophy today - “Local company, local people, local service.”

We began trading as a small company in January 1991, originally operating as low-cost provider from a small shop in Worthing’s North Street. To reflect a better quality image, we rebranded as Worthing Windows in 1995, with a fully managed team and a separate department for each part of every project.

After a quarter of a century, we’re confident we have hit on the perfect formula and we’re thriving while others have fallen by the wayside.

Our complete design, planning and installation service means our friendly, expert team are with you every step of the way for:

The front line men, the fitters …

And finally there are our fitters, all local guys, and they do the real work! These chaps are the ones who make our installations so great. They’re polite, conscientious and hardworking in all weathers and cause minimal disruption to your home. What’s more, they show up on time and clear up afterwards so you won’t know they’ve been. All they ask is for a nice brew to keep them going as they work!
