If you’re looking for a combination of high performance UPVC windows but the authentic appearance of timber windows, Residence9 is the answer. Able to accommodate 28mm or 44mm triple glazing, it achieved market leading thermal and acoustic performance.
Whilst giving the impression of timber windows, Residence9 is manufactured from modern composite materials which requires very little maintenance unlike timber windows.
Unlike UPVC windows with foiled profiles which have triangle joins on the corners, Residence 9 replicates the original joins you would see on traditional timber frames.
At 100mm, Residence 9 is perfect to replace original timber windows which were 95mm. So unlike UPVC windows which are usually 70mm wide, Residence 9 covers all the old paint lines from the timber windows.
Residence9 is ideal in conservation areas due to the ability to replicate 19th century Flush Sash Timber windows.
Residence 9 also replicates original handles and hinges. You can choose to have traditional Butt Hinges for the authentic appearance.
Handles choices include Monkeytail and Peardrop designs and well as more modern Chrome, Grass and Pewter Patina.
